Sweet, funny little moments.

Last night I was stuck on the recliner with a heating pad and ice pack, going between the two.  I had taken a fall down the stairs a few days ago and my back has worsened, but after going to the doctor and getting some anti-flammatories, I'm doing alright.

Anyway... so last night I was sitting down and my daughter ran to the bathroom.  She noticed there was no toilet paper, so I hear her call from the bathroom, "hey dad!  Can you get me some toilet paper please?"  He grabs her a roll and tosses it in to her and quickly shuts the door.  Well, I can then hear her yell, "thanks babe!"  And starts belting out, "I love my daaadddd!!"  lol  She cracks me up.

Then last night while I was sitting in the recliner, she climbs up on my lap and tells me, "Oh mommy... you are so pretty and beautiful, brave and strong and so fluffy!!!"  As she pokes me right into my belly.  Gee, thanks kid!

Today I was upstairs, cleaning out my scrap room (well, trying anyway) and she asks if she can use my computer to play on the paint app that I have.  I didn't mind, so she got to work to create her masterpiece.  After she was finished, she jumped down from the computer and walked away.  I turned around to admire her masterpiece thinking it would be something like a cat, dog, a heart... whatever.  Well, this is what I found.
She doesn't know how to use the space bar yet, but I could definitely read it.  It really made me smile.  She's such a sweet girl.  I tell ya, as quick-witted as she is and as funny, smart and sweet she is, I couldn't ask for a better daughter.  Even my boys have always been great kids.  I'm such a lucky mom!

OUCH! Sorry to hear about your back! Hope you're feeling better. And I just LOVE the things that kids say and do. My 8 year old told me I was ancient on my birthday. Makes you feel good, doesn't it? lol
