I'm looking forward to starting off this new year. Last year was a bit rough between having my wisdom teeth taken out, kidney stones (twice), and sicknesses with myself and the kids. We also had an extremely busy 2011 with the kids in sports. Football took up most of our year. The boys started tackle football in June and it never ended until December. Practice was every day with games on the weekends. This year I'm hoping we get some time to do a few other things with the kids.
This is also the fourth year I will be working on Project Life 365. Only it will really be 366. I really enjoy taking a picture a day. I print out the pictures and put a journaling card with it and put it into my binder. It makes such a great time capsule for my family and I. Looking back on the past three years that I have done this is really neat. It helps remind me of things that I might have forgotten. Funny things the kids have said and done, the sweet, funny moments of life. Throughout the year, I will be sharing a few of my pictures with you. I got started on this back in 2009 from Becky Higgins. You can find her here with all of the Project Life goodness to maybe start your own journey. http://www.beckyhiggins.com/
This is also going to be the year of organization and declutter. I'm embarrassed to say that I am still hanging onto my senior prom dress from 1996. I will never fit in it again, nor would I want to wear it anyway, but why do I still have it? I found the most amazing calendar online through Pinterest http://pinterest.com/ where it gives you daily activities to help organize and declutter your home. Sundays are not meant for cleaning, but instead a day of activities, relaxation or reflection. It's a great calendar!
I'm looking very forward to this year with my family. I hope you have a very happy, healthy, joyful new year full of love and laughter. Happy 2012!
