more on the December Daily

Whew! I've been working today on my book since 9 this morning. I've been going non-stop, except to make lunch for the kids! I was able to get pages 6-12 done, skipping 11. Why did I skip 11? I don't know, but don't worry, I'll get it done! :) I'm trying hard to plan my pages accordingly, keeping weekends in mind when we might see Santa, look at lights, go for hot chocolate, etc.

Here's a peak at what I just finished!





This is page 6. The large "C" stands for Christmas, and I painted this large chipboard frame and I'm going to use it to slide in a picture.









I apologize once again for page 8 here, it's turned to the side. Why it does that as soon as I upload it, I'm not sure. Drives me nuts!! Anyway, I still am working on page 7, I had to let my stickles try on an ornament, so I haven't posted day 7 yet of the book!











Days 10 and 12 both have hidden journaling in them. Day 10 is an envelop that opens up to access a picture and day 12 allows a picture on the front (that's a Saturday, so I am thinking we will go see Santa that day) and inside there's a big folded tag for all of my journaling. During the holidays, I have a lot of things I love to jot down, fond memories of years ago, etc. and I want to make sure I have lots of opportunites in my book to write them all down! Thank you so much for checking them out. I think I'm going to stop for today. I work all week so I probably won't work on the book again until next weekend!
