December Daily days 11 through the 21st

Hello all, I hope everyone had a terrific weekend. Those days just go by way too fast! I don't think I really got much time to myself where I got to sit down and relax! Saturday was a busy day for us. Our oldest son had his last football game of the season and then after the game we went to the awards ceremony where the boys each got their trophies and awards. We had a pizza party at Round Table. I have always liked their pizza!

After we got home from the game, I baked an Apple Crisp for my family. Since it rained all day long today and we were stuck out there during the football game, I thought a nice warm apple crisp might make everyone a little happy. My husband is the assistant coach and both him and our oldest were soaked to the bone with rain.

Saturday evening I had to go to my grandma's house with my parents. We had to all discuss who is bringing what to Thanksgiving dinner. I had to laugh to myself at this because we have all done Thanksgiving together as a family for years. It's really not hard to figure out who is bringing what. This year we are having Thanksgiving at my home. My husband will be doing the cooking this year. I always look forward to the wonderful meals he makes.

Well, enough of my ramblings... onto my December Daily, the whole reason I posted this, right? Today I worked on days 11 through the 21st. The book is coming along nicely. Let me tell you what I have planned here...

day 11 is where my kids letters to Santa will be going. I always love when they write those special letters.

Day 12 I already posted up in the previous post... I just added some bling to the page.
Day 13 is a day where I want to put our Christmas tree. The white area is just enough for some small journaling and the Green area will be my picture placement.

day 14 will be for whatever fits my fancy that day. The small green area will be my picture placement and the white for my journaling.

Day 15 is what I want for Christmas. I just want my three kids to be happy. I want them to enjoy the special moments of the holiday season. I want them to feel love all around them and I want to see their faces light up from all of the wonderful things around them. Their happiness is all I want for Christmas. There is a spot for each of their picture on a red square.

Day 16 will be a day dedicated to our Christmas tree. We have decorated it the same way for about 5 years now with lots of blue and silver ornaments along with white lights. Every year we go out and cut down a real tree and our children help decorate it. Every year the kids take turns putting the angel on top of our tree. The page looks a little empty right now without a picture. :)

Day 17 is all about traditions. Here on this white cardstock I will put a picture of something that I might have enjoyed as a kid growing up, something that was a tradition or maybe something my children now consider a tradition. We will make the decision when that day comes. This cardstock opens up and inside I have written down some of my favorite Christmas traditions from when I was a kid. Below it, I will add my children's favorite.

Day 18 is kind of a fun page. I put down another envelop and here is where I will put some of my favorite cookie recipes. I already put a few in there now. I also love the adorable little embellishments on the front of the envelop as well as the "Holiday cooking" sticker on the front.

Day 19 is a Saturday and this is the day where I have planned to go look at Christmas lights. It's a tradition for us every year to go drive around and see the lights. We also have two amazing shows nearby us, one is at Spanaway Lake where they have lights all over the park on display and there's the Zoo Lights down in the Pt. Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. On day 19 I have a hidden journaling card to write down my chldren's reactions when we go and look at the lights. Especially when my three year old sees them.

Day 20 is a Sunday. The Sunday before Christmas. I plan on doing most of my baking on this day so I wanted to capture that. I love these adorable little gingerbread embellishments!!

Day 21 I would love to get a picture of our stockings hung up by our fireplace on our mantle. My kids love when Santa comes... in our family we open our stockings first thing before our gifts on Christmas morning.

Thanks for checking out the book! I will most likely get the next days done next weekend. I am really enjoying putting this book together.
