Living in Western Washington, it's not easy to take pictures of the moon. That's because most nights we have some sort of clouds in the sky. The night of the Winter Solstice, people from all over the world were posting up such pretty pictures of the moon. Even last month in January, we had a gorgeous moon out, well, what I saw of it, before the clouds came in.
Tonight I walked outside and looked up to see this Cheshire cat smile at me. It was a clear night out, so I quickly ran to grab my camera and tripod to capture this smiling face in the sky. Every time I see the moon like this, I always think of the movie Alice In Wonderland. One of my favorite movies.
Now, I must say, I have taken some amazing moon pictures last year in the Fall. I was lucky enough and captured this pretty moon picture and I added a quote to it. I love how it turned out and I'm considering framing it in my home. My daughter loves the moon as well. She makes sure to point it out as soon as she sees it. The moon, mommy...
Goodnight Moon....
