365 update! Still plugging away!

I just love the 365 project.  I know that a lot of people find taking a picture a day is a bit challenging.  It truly is something to think about.  I always make sure to take pictures that reflect on a part of my day.  Sure it's easy to snap pictures of random things... but remember, my 365 is a time capsule for my family.  This is something we are going to look back on in 30 years and just giggle away at.

So, what have we been up to these past few weeks?  Well, if you don't follow me on Facebook or on the Creating Keepsakes website, then I will share a few on here.

We will start with this.  A few weeks ago I was on my way to work, thankfully almost there, when my tire went flat.  My husband picked up my car and took it in and found out I had rolled right over a framing nail.  They are doing construction right up the street from my office.  I was tempted to go with a bill in hand and give them back their nail.

The week that we had the heavy snow (a blog post ago), my daughter was supposed to be the Superstar in her class.  They ended up closing the schools due to the snow that day and she was so disappointed!  She had worked really hard on her poster her teacher had given her.  Once school started back up the following week, she was the Superstar.  Happy girl all around!

I went out to dinner with a friend one Friday night and my oldest son called me to tell me that he had fallen down at school by tripping over someone's foot.  When I got home, I had noticed my husband had already given him an ice pack for his knee.  Looking at his knee, it looked pretty swollen.  I was thinking about taking him in, but when I noticed that he could bend it and walk, I knew he'd be ok.  I just gave him a couple of days to be sure.  He ended up being just fine.

Remember that Mount Rainier picture a few posts ago?  Well, I put my picture on canvas!  A 16x32 to be exact!  I love how it turned out.  I ended up hanging it in the hallway so that you can see it right as you walk in the front door of our home.

We had a few nice days after it had snowed to where my kids could go outside and play.  One day it almost reached 60 degrees!  I rode home from work with my window rolled down in my car.  How awesome for it being the first week in February at the time.  When I got home, I saw that my daughter was jumping on the trampoline.  I took a few pictures, this being a favorite.

Thanks for following along.  I'll try to keep my blog a little more updated!
