The boys and I made some sugar cookies last weekend. They love helping me with cutting out the dough and afterwards, frosting the cookies. Isn't that the best part of making sugar cookies?
Last week we had a holiday party at work just for our area. Everyone brought something to eat/drink and we exchanged gifts. I got a lovely set from Bath and Body works. My friend Patty got my doctor a gift card but forgot to wrap it, so we wrapped it all up in our sterilization paper and tape.
We have had some cold weather here. For a few days it was just cold and clear with beautiful sunsets every night. Just this past Monday we got some snow.
James picked a lovely tree from the PX (post exchange) this year. I am kind of bummed because we usually go to a tree farm and pick and chop down our own tree, but there really isn't any good tree lots around here. I think next year when we aren't so busy we will go up to Indiana to Huber's Farm and get a tree from there. I heard they have a nice tree farm. That's once thing I miss so much about Washington. Going to my favorite tree farm and enjoying the day!
This is Madi's third Christmas. It's just unbelievable how fast she is growing! She's talking so much now and she's a lot of fun to play with. She says the silliest things and she's a smart little girl! Also this week, Nate got chosen as student of the month! We are going to a special lunch for him tomorrow. Sean was choosen as Student of the month last month! I have such great kids! We are so proud of them.
This has been such a busy month for us and it's just going to stay this way! I love it, but looking forward to some quiet time where everything goes back to normal... just a little bit. ;)
