It's beginning to look like Christmas!

I love this time of year! I know some people hate it, but for me, I was fortunate to be raised where Christmas was seen as a good thing. Goodwill towards each other, celebrating our Lord, get togethers with family and friends, holiday lights, cookies and candy, the feeling of giving someone a special little something, Santa visiting on Christmas Eve... this whole season is just so magical and wonder. It's just great!

Today my husband, kids and I went with our friends to the Schilter family farm in Lacey to find and cut down our Christmas tree. After searching for an hour, we found the perfect one and chopped it down. We brought our tree home and I started putting the lights on. It's a tradition that I do, only I like to do it. This year I have 1500 lights on the tree!! Our tree is about 8 feet tall. It's goregous. James worked on the Christmas lights outside. He made our home so beautiful. When we finished the lights, James turned on some Christmas music and the kids, James and I decorated the tree. We were almost finished, when my dad called to tell us that it was snowing outside!! How magicial!! It truely felt like Christmas!

Here are some pictures from our day. Enjoy!!
