flat girls come to visit and the fall festival

Last few days have been busy, even though it's the middle of the work week. Usually we do all of our family activites on the weekends. Last night the boys wanted to carve pumpkins after work, so we agreed. Of course James and I did most of the work. The boys helped dig out the seeds. This past week I have had a visit from our traveling flat girls. They helped carve the pumpkins as well!!

James and I took the kids to the Fall Festival at the boys' school tonight. They had a good time. I wasn't really feeling that great, so Madi and I didn't stay too long. I have a head cold from the flu shot they gave us on Monday. I did get a couple of pictures of the kids. Madi really loved the Duck Pond game. At first she started to take off her shoes so she could get IN the "pond." I had to tell her "no" and to just pick a duck. She got a little mad at me, but finally picked one.

Here's my AWESOME, AMAZING, WONDERFUL husband, volunteering at the Fall Festival, at the bouncy house!! He's great!!
