Lions and Tigers and (no) bears, oh my!

Last weekend it was just beautiful here! We had a day of partly cloudy skies with highs in the 70's. Just wonderful. We took the opportunity to go to the Louisville zoo. We've never been there before so I am glad we went. We took the kids and our friends Devon and Jen went with us too. James bought me a new zoom lens for my Nikon D40 a few weeks ago so I was excited to use it! The boys loved all the animals and exploring the zoo, but my daughter was ready to go home after awhile. She was hungry and needed a nap. Most of the animals were out, but were all laying down. We didn't get a chance to see the Tiger because he was laying down under the platform where we were standing. We saw his paws and that was about it. Check out these pictures!
