We took the kids to an egg hunt after school today. It was the first time we ever went to one. It was set up by age groups, which I thought was a great idea. They had each age group roped off, starting with 0-3, 4-7, and 8-12. They let the little babies go first. I took my daughter out there, but we only managed to get four eggs, due to most of the parents scooping them up for their children. My daughter is only 22 months so I just pointed at them, or she found them on her own. She's old enough where I don't need to pick them up for her. It was a little disappointing because other babies had TONS of eggs in their baskets, only because of the help of their parents.
My husband was with my boys and the boys seemed to do better than my daughter, since they are older. They each got about 7-9 eggs a piece. I felt bad because my five year old has his eyes set on a "shiny egg" and before he had a chance to pick it up, some little boy picked it up. But hey, that's the way the game is played! Sorry.
They had an Easter bunny out there and goodies for after the egg hunt. We didn't stay around because our daughter was clearly done. She had sat down with her basket on the grass and didn't plan on moving. Of course when I went to pick her up to leave, she threw the classic terrible twos temper tantrum. :) Ahhh... to be two again.

I see that your base had an early easter egg as well. Ours was last weekend! It doesn't help that we're in North Dakota and it was in both of the Youth Center gyms.
Anyways, it's nice to see another scapper w/ association to the military! See ya at CKMB
